Guest Guidelines

We can’t wait for you to

join our discussion!

These guidelines are designed to ensure that our guests’ work and image will be surrounded by the highest quality content:

฀Our goal is to provide our guest, prior to the interview, with questions that will serve as a guide for the conversation. However, these questions will not serve as the only questions used during our podcast conversation. We also ask that you do not memorize answers for any of the questions as this leads to an unnatural sounding conversation. If you need to cite specific numbers or data points you are, of course, welcome to use notes!

฀The tone that best suits our listeners is conversational, neither overly informal nor excessively academic.

Our audience consists of a wide range of ages, and people from different cultural backgrounds. Please avoid crude or offensive speech on the podcast. If you slip-up, don’t worry! Just pause for a moment and then restart your sentence from the beginning so that we can seamlessly edit out the previous statements.

Though Creator Files desires to shine a light on you/your organization’s work, conversations should focus on informing readers more than selling, persuading, or advocating for a particular brand or product. The goal is to be objective and helpful.

Ideas, theories and opinions are encouraged! But please be particularly careful, especially with specific figures and numbers, that they are in an accurate range.

By being a guest on the Creator Files podcast, you acknowledge that the episode may be edited for length or engagement purposes or possibly not published at all. We respect your time and appreciate you being a guest on the podcast, so we have every intention of publishing the episode.

฀All content becomes the property of Creator Files in perpetuity.

Guests are encouraged to republish the material on their own sites, bios, or social media with proper attribution to Creator Files. ฀

Guests of the Creator Files podcast are encouraged to share their interviews on their social media networks.

We welcome any accompanying visuals as well as links to your website, articles written on the topic at-hand, and relevant videos, which will be used at our discretion.
